No. Any iPad, Android tablet, or even a spare laptop with a browser works. Most gyms use a 10-inch iPad mounted in a countertop stand. If you don't have one, we can point you to a $150 kiosk kit that's ready-to-go.
No — and that's on purpose. Next Up sits on top of whatever you already use. We're a display layer, not a member-management system. Your instructors, payments, and check-ins all stay wherever they are today.
The tablet caches your latest schedule locally. Countdown timing still works because it's computed on-device, not on our servers. When wifi returns, the display re-syncs automatically. Members rarely notice a blip.
Yes. Colors, logos, welcome messages, and per-location sub-text are all editable from the admin. Your gym's members shouldn't feel like they're looking at a stock widget.
Yes. The $29/month subscription cancels with no penalty whenever you want — manage it directly from your billing portal. The $100 setup fee is non-refundable since it covers our install work.
